We sincerely welcome Professor Bart Ellenbroek, from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, to lead the journal OBM Neurobiology as the Editor-in-Chief. Professor Ellenbroek is an expert specializing in behavioural neurogenetics. He and his group focus on the aetiology and neurobiology of symptoms related to several psychiatric disorders. Professor Singg has abundant professional experience in post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, zoophilia, childhood sexual abuse, memory, cardiovascular disease, alternative methods of healing, grief, suicide, energy medicine, student personal responsibility, self-esteem, color preference and color therapy, role of nutrition in physical and psychological wellness. Dr. Singg organized the first AIDS Awareness Program in West Texas in early 1980s and started the first support group for the AIDS patients, their families and friends. We sincerely welcome Professor Miguel A Pappolla, from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, TX, and the Texas Medical Center at Houston, TX, USA, to join the Editorial Board of OBM Neurobiology. Professor Pappolla and his team was among the first to identify evidence of oxidative stress in Alzheimer's disease brain, conducted groundbreaking research on hypercholesterolemia as an early risk factor for Alzheimer's disease. His research involves the development of neuroprotective drugs as potential therapeutic agents. Dr. Pappolla's lab identified of several naturally occurring neuroprotective substances. This discovery provides a biochemical basis, at least in part, for the gut-brain axis. We appreciate Professor Pappolla for his participation and support.

We sincerely welcome Professor Carlos Fernando Valenzuela from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, USA, to join the Editorial Board of OBM Neurobiology. Professor Valenzuela serves as the Director of Alcohol Research Training in Neuroscience Program, a NIH-Alcohol Neurobiology T32 Training Grant. His research focuses on modulation of developing and mature neuronal circuits by alcohol (ethanol). He and his team have made important contributions towards a better understanding of the neurobiology of alcoholism and fetal alcohol spectrum disorder.
