Recent Progress in Materials Welcomes New Editorial Board Member

We sincerely welcome Prof. Dr. Abdelkader Zarrouk from Mohammed V University in Rabat, Morocco, to join the Editorial Board of Recent Progress in Materials. He received his Ph.D. in Materials and Corrosion Science, from Mohammed First University, Morocco, in 2011. He has published more than 617 papers in international journals (indexed Scopus) with h-index = 75 and presented about 200 communications in symposia and national/international meetings. He has developed two Moroccan patents and six U.S. patents. He is on the editorial board of twenty-eight (30) international journals and a reviewer in more than seventy peer-reviewed international journals published by Elsevier, Springer, Royal Society of Chemistry, American Chemical Society, Taylor and Francis, etc. He is the author of two books. His main research interests are in the field of Physical Chemistry, especially electrochemistry (Corrosion and corrosion inhibition in all media for metals and alloys using various techniques). He is currently interested in using some quantum chemical methods like density functional theory (DFT), Molecular Dynamics Simulation, and other semi-empirical methods, elimination of heavy metals and radioactive elements by adsorbents, coating, and electroplating, Recently, he has been interested in organic solar cells, the elaboration and characterization of thin films via electrodeposition and their applications. He is also interested in the electro-fenton process. We appreciate Prof. Dr. Abdelkader Zarrouk for his participation and support.
