About This Topic

For the first time in history, mRNA vaccines have been approved for use on humans during the well-known COVID-19 pandemic. Immediately, the extraordinary technology behind their development was understood, and the scientific community wondered what the potential of these vaccines could be, both in the infectious and oncological fields. Today, after a few years, this Special Issue questions what concrete advances have been made in mRNA vaccine research in the fight against pathogens, cancer and genetic diseases.
