Dr. Lumpkin is Professor in the department of Biochemistry and Cellular and Molecular Biology, Division of Integrative Physiology, and immediate past Chairman of the Department of Physiology and Biophysics at the Georgetown University School of Medicine. He directs the Human Endocrinology course taught to first-year medical students and teaches physiology and neuroendocrinology to both medical and graduate students. He lectures in the Conventional Medicine series of the Georgetown Mini-Medical School. In addition, Dr. Lumpkin is a facilitator for Mind-Body groups.
