Scope
Integrating hypnosis into psychotherapy and medicine is a complex endeavor. This challenge arises from the diverse approaches and theoretical orientations of professionals who study and apply hypnosis in their practice. The intricate historical roots of hypnosis, along with the varied paradigms researchers use to conceptualize it as a phenomenon, further complicate its integration into clinical applications.
This special issue aims to present and demonstrate various models of hypnosis implementation in psychotherapy, medicine, and psychosomatics. These models, which represent dominant approaches in contemporary clinical practice, offer frameworks for the effective and appropriate incorporation of hypnosis into therapeutic settings.
