Journal of Energy and Power Technology (JEPT) is an international peer-reviewed Open Access journal published quarterly online by LIDSEN Publishing Inc. About This Topic
Climate change and growing energy demand has led to the exploration of sustainable for the production of energy, in this challenge and context, biogas production has become an important strategy. This special issue will cover biogas production for biofuels mainly from biomass as a starting source. In addition, new research systems are of great interest considering classical production methods such as biological and thermochemical approaches.
We would like to cover several aspects related to biogas production, including pretreatment of complex degradable organic materials, microbiology of anaerobic digestion processes, gas purification methods focusing not only on physical adsorption processes, recycling methods for biogas production and gas purification systems, design and monitoring of reactors and processes for the production of electrical and thermal energy using biogas as a fuel, as well as methods for biobiogas development.
