Jabbar from College of Engineering, Faculty of Computing, Engineering, and the Built Environment, Birmingham City University, Birmingham, United Kingdom, to join the Editorial Board of Advances in Environmental and Engineering Research. His research interests include Internet of Things, Wireless Networks, Mobile Communications, Smart Sensors and Control. He also has a keen interest in Low Power Wide Area Networks such as LoRa/LoRaWAN networks. Before joining BCU, Waheb served for six years in different academic, research and administrative positions at Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), Malaysia that include Senior Lecturer (Assistant Professor) at the Faculty of Engineering Technology (FTeK) (2016-2019) and the Faculty of Electrical & Electronic Engineering Technology (FTKEE) (2019-2022), Research Fellow at the Centre for Software Development & Integrated Computing, Coordinator of Senior Design Projects for undergraduate students at FTKEE, and Head of Advanced Electronics & Automation Research Sector at FTeK. He has served as a Principal and Co-researcher of many research projects in the field of Wireless Networks and Internet of Things and registered four intellectual properties. He has received number of Excellence Awards in teaching and research development and many Gold/Silver/Bronze medals from several national and international exhibitions for innovative research and inventions. He was awarded a Top Peer Reviewer Award in 2019 as a part of the Global Review Awards by Publons, Web of Science. His academic research skills and hands-on practice in Electrical and Electronics Engineering are supported by six years (2002-2008) of industrial experience in power plants operation and maintenance as an Electrical Supervisor and Commissioning Engineer at Sana’a South Power Plant with the Public Electricity Corporation, Yemen prior to awarding scholarship and joining UKM for pursuing his postgraduate studies. Dr. Ying-Chien Chung gained his PhD degree from the National Chiao-Tung University in 1997. Professor Chung has served as Professor in the Department of Biological Science and Technology, China University of Science and Technology. He has authored over 150 papers (100 in SCI journals and 50 in Proceedings) in the past years. Among his editorial positions, he has served as editorial board member for several international journals in the fields of biotechnology, microbiology and natural resource management. Professor Chung has featured widely in environmental biotechnology, green technology, biosensor, biological engineering, bioremediation, microbial fuel cell and fermentation. Professor Chung has been the recipient of numerous academic awards, grants, and fellowships, including the Who's Who in the World (2009-2015, 2017-2020), Who's Who in Asia (2017), Scientific Award of Excellence for 2011, Man of the year 2012, Cambridge Certificate for Outstanding Scientific Achievement (2012, 2015) and Top 100 Scientists (2012, 2015);He completed 50 R&D projects funded by various Government and private agencies;He was granted 35 patents for his invention and 10 technology transfers with the enterprises. We sincerely welcome Prof. Dr. Abdelazim Negm from Zagazig University, Zagazig, Egypt, to join the Editorial Board of Advances in Environmental and Engineering Research. He worked as a demonstrator in Faculty of Engineering, Zagazig University in 1986 and continued till he occupied the position of Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affair. He was promoted as professor of hydraulics. His research areas are wide to include hydraulic, hydrology and water resources. He Published more than 350 scientific paper in national and international Journals and conferences. He published more than 50 book chapters. Also, he edited 30 books on water resources management and agriculture. The 30 books were published by Springer during the years 2017-2021. Prof. Negm is a reviewer for more than 30 national and international journals. He has a wide national and international technical network and currently working on editing several book projects in the Springer series Earth and Environmental Sciences, Handbook of Environmental Chemistry, ...etc. He participated in more than 80 conferences. Dr. Al-Shareeda holds a BSc, MSc, and Ph.D. earned in Iraq, Lebanon, and Malaysia, respectively. Dr Bernard Saw Lip Huat is currently an associate professor and chairperson for the Centre for Sustainable Mobility Technologies in the Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Malaysia. He received his Ph.D. degree from National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2015. Besides, he is a Chartered Engineer registered with the Engineering Council (UK), Professional Engineer registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia, Professional Technologists registered with Malaysia Board of Technologists and associate fellow of Asean Academy of Engineering and Technology. His research interests include energy storage system, computational fluid dynamic, thermal management, renewable energy and ventilation. His research is well recognized as he is listed among the top 2% of the world’s most highly cited scientists published by Stanford University. He has been invited to deliver several keynotes and invited speeches in many conferences as well as public lectures. He has co-authored more than 90 peer-reviewed papers in prestigious international journals, 5 books/ book chapters, 4 patents and won more than 30 awards in the local and international competitions as well as outstanding reviewers for more than 10 international journals. We sincerely welcome Prof. Dr. Shreeshivadasan Chelliapan from Department of Smart Engineering and Advanced Technology, Faculty of Artificial Intelligence, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to join the Editorial Board of Advances in Environmental and Engineering Research. Prof. Dr. C. Shreeshivadasan is currently a Professor at the Department of Engineering, Razak Faculty of Technology and Informatics and a Research Fellow at the Centre for Environmental Sustainability and Water Security (IPASA), UTM. He received his PhD in Environmental Engineering in 2006 from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom. His PhD research was on the treatment of pharmaceutical wastewater containing macrolide antibiotic using anaerobic digester. He obtained his Masters and Bachelor degree from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in the field of Chemical and Environmental Engineering in 1995 and 1997, respectively. His interests are largely concerned with the control of pollutants in the environment in relation to industrial wastewater using anaerobic process. Specifically, his research is more concentrated towards the control of pollutants from various wastewater such as pharmaceutical, paper mill, textile, landfill leachate and palm oil mill effluents. His latest project was the treatment of textile wastewater using modified anaerobic baffled reactor and treatment of landfill leachate using anaerobic stage reactor (ASR) combined with a membrane bioreactor (MBR) for the removal of selected micro-pollutants. He is very much active in the national and international arena promoting environmental awareness and the concept of sustainability. He is a committee member of the Malaysian Water Association (MWA) and Malaysian Water Academy (MyWA) under the section of industrial research and development. He is also the Editor-in-Chief for Malaysian Journal of Water published by the MWA. He has produced more than 100 research articles and conference proceedings in the field of environmental engineering, particularly using the anaerobic reactors.
