We sincerely welcome Dr. Nilesh R. Chodankar from the Khalifa University of Science and Technology, United Arab Emirates, to join the Editorial Board of the Journal of Energy and Power Technology. His research focuses on the design and synthesis of functional materials, innovation of devices for electrochemical energy storage and conversion applications, including next-generation aqueous storage systems (for example, Zn-ion, Al-ion, and non-metal ion systems), supercapacitors, electrocatalysts (water splitting), to generate best-in-class performance and compete with expensive technologies/commercial materials for real-world applications. In addition, he is focused on the design and development of different biocompatible materials for implantable and safe energy storage systems for advanced implantable electronic medical devices. To date, he has co-authored more than 120 refereed journal articles, five domestic or international patents, several book chapters, and edited two textbooks. Professor Malik has done pioneering work in the development of controllers for application in electric power systems and wind power generation. His other interests include digital protection, control of renewable power generation and micro-grids, and AI applications in power system control. We sincerely welcome Prof. Dr. Alissara Reungsang from Khon Kaen University, Thailand, to join the Editorial Board of Journal of Energy and Power Technology. Dr. Alissara Reungsang is a Professor in the Department of Biotechnology at Khon Kaen University in Thailand. She has over 25 years of research experience focused on biofuels production, particularly biohydrogen and biomethane, as well as environmental biotechnology. Dr. Reungsang obtained her Ph.D. in Water Resources Engineering from Iowa State University in 2000. She has published over 200 international peer-reviewed journal articles and has been awarded multiple patents related to biofuel production processes. Her research has been recognized with several prestigious awards, including the National Outstanding Researcher Award in Agriculture and Biology in 2020 from National Research Council of Thailand, and 29th Science and Technology Award, from Thailand Toray Science Foundation in 2023. As a leader in her field, Dr. Reungsang has served on editorial boards for international journals and held leadership positions in professional societies like the Thai Society for Biotechnology. She has supervised numerous graduate students and actively collaborates with researchers globally. Her work aims to develop sustainable bioenergy technologies to address environmental and energy challenges.

We sincerely welcome Dr. Gilbert Ahamer from Graz University, Austria, to join the Editorial Board of Journal of Energy and Power Technology. After studies of Technical Physics, Technical Environmental Protection, and Economics & Law, he worked in several international institutions including the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis, lectured at six universities, and worked for the consensus-oriented European Neighbourhood Policy between Central Europe and Central Asia. Gilbert invented the web-based didactic suite “Surfing Global Change” for training of consensus creation in difficult transdisciplinary geo-political environments and the “Global Change Data Base” GCBD for the detection of global megatrends. In his book “Mapping Global Dynamics” a new theory of space is developed, based on communication.
