We welcome Dr. Cuie Wen from RMIT University, Australia, to join the Editorial Board of Recent Progress in Materials. Dr. Wen is a professor of Biomaterials Engineering, Cuie’s research has led to around 300 peer-reviewed original publications. Dr. Wen is a renowned scholar who specializes in biomaterials engineering, surface coating/modification of biomaterials, biocompatible alloys, composites and scaffolds, nanostructured metals, alloys, composites and nanolaminates, shape memory and alloys for biomedical application. We appreciate Dr. Wen for her participation and support.
We welcome Professor Alkiviadis S. Paipetis from University of Ioannina, Greece, to join the Editorial Board of Recent Progress in Materials. Professor Paipetis is a mechanical engineer with research activity in the field of mechanical behavior and non destructive evaluation of composite materials and structures. He is also the author of more than 130 international publications in peer reviewed journals and conference proceedings. He is a founding member of the Hellenic Society for Composite Materials. His main research interests are Composite Materials, nano and hybrid composites, Acoustic Emission non-destructive inspection, composite repair, self-healing materials, Hierarchical composites, multifunctional materials, Interfacial Micromechanics, Eco-Friendly Brass Alloys, Structural health monitoring.
