The findings of their clinical efficacy trials indicate that Qigong exercise may benefit those people by releasing their symptoms of pain, fatigue, and sleep dysfunction. They have also examined the changes in inflammatory pathways and observed that the improvements in some symptoms in people with chronic health conditions after Qigong exercise are related to the changes in some inflammatory biomarkers, indicating possible biological mechanisms underlying the benefits of Qigong exercise. Their research works have been supported by NIH, National Science Foundation, American Heart Association, etc. We appreciate Prof. Liu for his participation and support.
